No Sound on Computer (HP Windows Systems - May 2022)

Problem:

The IT Department has been pushing out some automated software and driver updates to workstations. One of these updates is for the audio driver. After the audio driver update is applied to the machine some systems have been losing audio.

Solution:

This has typically been able to be resolved by simply restarting your system. After restarting the computer you should have sound again.
